Madden 25 has become the talk of the town following its worldwide release on Friday. However, the EA Sports video game is currently not available on any tier of Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will eventually be able to play the game once it becomes available on standard EA Play, which is included in the premium tier of Microsoft's service. EA Play is a service run by the publisher that's similar to Game Pass. The basic tier offers subscribers up to 10 hours of free trials for new games and a collection of previously released titles, but it's uncertain when Madden NFL 25 will be added.
Generally, it takes around six to nine months for EA to make the games available on EA Play, meaning NFL 25 could be available through a subscription service by Feb. 2025. However, it's unlikely that the game will be available for free directly on Xbox Game Pass in the future.
