Jalen Ramsey has been continuously linked with a departure from the Los Angeles Rams. Many believe he could be traded to recoup draft assets, while others believe the team could cut him to save money.
Ramsey, on the other hand, isn't having any of those rumors and has responded with a series of tweets. Here's what Ramsey said in a tweet:
"This misinformation people run with is hilarious… y’all tap into that Word of God tho. That’s real"

Ramsey is too good a player for the Los Angeles Rams to cut, as they know how important he was during their Super Bowl run in 2021. He is still 28 years old, and despite slightly sub-par performances last season, he can rebound if their entire defense is healthy.
He had 64 solo tackles, 24 assists, 2.0 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and 4 interceptions in 17 games. Ramsey played every single game for the Rams last season, which is remarkable given how many of their star players were injured.
Jalen Ramsey's 2023 cap hit explained
Jalen Ramsey signed a five-year, $100 million contract with the Los Angeles Rams after being traded from the Jacksonville Jaguars. It included a $25 million signing bonus, a $71,200,000 guarantee, and a $20,000,000 annual salary.
He has a cap hit of $25.2 million for the 2023 NFL season and has a whooping dead cap hit of $32.1 million, which is why Ramsey getting cut by the Rams doesn't even make any sense at all.
Although being traded remains a possibility for Ramsey, who is one of the league's best cornerbacks. Many teams will be eager to sign him because he is still relatively young and has the potential to play at a high level for multiple seasons.
He will be 32 years old when he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2027. By then, any team will be able to get the most out of Ramsey, which is why the Rams could get a slew of draft picks if they trade him.
Sean McVay, on the other hand, holds Jalen Ramsey in high regard and considers him a key member of his team, alongside Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Aaron Donald. It will be interesting to see what moves the Rams make this offseason in order to regain their status as Super Bowl contenders.
