Michael "The Miz" Mizanin loves Cleveland. After all, he was born in the southern suburb of Parma. And that makes him a fan of the Browns.

He has extolled the team on various occasions, but the latest instance of it had a bold prediction. Speaking on Tuesday's episode of The Rich Eisen Show, the WWE Superstar claimed that they would do something that has not been done since the 2007 New England Patriots (and not once in the 17-game era) - go undefeated.

"Nobody can beat us! (Head coach) Kevin Stefanski is leading us to an undefeated season! (The) Cleveland Browns (are) going all the way to the Super Bowl - you heard it here first, baby!" he said.

And as he said earlier, the Browns have the tools to potentially achieve that. Quarterback Deshaun Watson is looking to complete his redemption arc after scandal and injury, and he has a monstrous corps to throw to in the form of wideouts Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, and Jerry Jeudy and tight end David Njoku.

The other side of the ball is anchored by reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett and also boasts Pro Bowlers Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Denzel Ward. Back in May, the Miz praised this composition:

“We have the caliber players that looks like a Super Bowl caliber type of team. We have all the ammunition on offense, and the defense is stout.”

The Miz discusses cheering for Browns against Bengals in 2023 season opener and thoughts on Joe Burrow

SummerSlam, often considered WWE's second-most important event after WrestleMania, will emanate this Saturday from the Browns' home stadium. And the Miz will be the host.

But as it turns out, this is not his first positive experience there. In that same interview, he recalled doing the team intro for the Week 1 win over the Cincinnati Bengals last season:

"I've been around that stadium. Last year, we did a guitar break, the intro, like, the Browns; that kind of what we do, our thing. 'Cause Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, they have this amplifier, and you bash a guitar over it, and that's how you get the crowd up for the game... It's kinda nice."

Speaking of the Bengals, he also discussed his thoughts on their star quarterback, Joe Burrow.

"We do have his number," The Miz said. "I feel bad for Joe Burrow when he comes to Cleveland. He's not gonna win. I don't care if he looks like Slim Shady or not; we're kicking him all over the place. He can look any way he wants. He's a fantastic quarterback; but if he sees us in the playoffs, he's done," he added.

The first Browns-Bengals showdown is on October 20. The second showdown will be on December 19 - a Thursday Night Football game.
