Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette starred in a hilarious moment with Amon-Ra and Equanimous St. Brown on their "St. Brown Podcast." A clip shared on Wednesday shows Legette discussing his love for an exotic food that surprised the hosts.
Equanimeous asked Xavier about her "hottest food take," which led to a shocking revelation from Legette about his unique food selection.
"Y'all fellas seen the video when I told them folks, 'Y'all eat raccoon?'" Legette said, surprising the St. Brown brothers.
"The raccoon that you see in the trash," he added before explaining the process of how he gets raccoon. "I hunt it, I kill it, I skin it, cook 'em and eat 'em. All of that."

While Equanimous couldn't fathom what was happening, Amon-Ra asked Legette when was the last time he had this dish, with the former saying he ate it on Thanksgiving.
This is an uncommon dish for plenty of people, but Legette looked very passionate while talking about it, and considering his words, it seems like his family is also involved in the whole hunting, killing, skinning and cooking process. At 2.8 million reproductions, this video has drawn a lot of attention.
NFL fans react to Xavier Legette's raccoon admission
After the video went viral, plenty of fans reacted to it and let him know how they felt about his words. Some agreed that this is a common practice among people in the South.
"Yall act like this is an uncommon thing? Come to the south, more people eat racoon than you’d imagine, very common. Lol," one fan said.
"Lmao as soon as he started talking I knew he ate raccoon, he real southern 😂," another fan said.
"This isnt uncommon. Buddy of mine in South Georgia paid his appliance delivery guy with some frozen raccoons from the freezer," another fan noted.
Others made fun of Xavier Legette's words and even mocked Amon-Ra St. Brown's reaction to the explanation.
"Bro said i had that s**t a couple weeks ago and started salivating 😂😂😂," one fan wrote.
This revelation came as a total surprise to some, including the hosts, but also as a normal thing to others. Legette has had a solid NFL season despite being on a struggling team like the Panthers. He's coming off a two-reception, 39-yard game against the Philadelphia Eagles, continuing his solid moment in the campaign.
