Dez Bryant and Kayvon Thibodeaux will never share the gridiron, but they did share an ugly argument on social media over the weekend. The former Cowboys star and top Giants draft pick took turns taking personal shots at each other.
It appears that the argument began after Bryant made a comment appearing to claim that the Giants were missing out on Saquon Barkley. Thibodeaux responded.
"The Giants have got to be sick; I don't care what anyone says," Bryant posted.

"We got the same amount of SB," Thibodeaux responded.
Things escalated from there, turning into both calling each other out.
"lol you do this for free, yo time not worth that much," Thibodeaux said.
"Bruh my time outta of the league is worth more than your entire career.. you are damn near a bust if we are keeping it G… I don’t even play and I’ll argue I get better-paid opportunities than you!" Bryant posted.
The rivalry between the Cowboys and Giants appears to live on even in those who have no chance of meeting on the football field like Bryant and Kayvon Thibodeaux.
At this point, both have had their moments. Bryant played for the Cowboys from 2010 through 2017 until injuries got the better of him in 2018. He missed the entire 2019 season. However, he got one last moment, playing in six games with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020.
Exploring Dez Bryant's prediction for Kayvon Thibodeaux
The former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver said many things about Kayvon Thibodeaux's career, but perhaps his biggest prediction was that the Giants linebacker won't get re-signed.
"Bruh I eased off you because you are a wanna be… asking me dumb a** questions as if I care to play football.. you are a cornball! I bet the giants not signing you back! lol," he said.
The linebacker has been productive for the Giants. In three seasons, he has accumulated 21 sacks and 127 tackles. His best season was in 2023, when he recorded 11.5 sacks and 50 total tackles. However, the linebacker experienced a setback in 2024, with only 5.5 sacks, less than half of his total from the previous season.
2025 is shaping up to be big for the linebacker as he heads into his all-important fourth year. Depending on how things go, the New York Giants could elect to pick up his fifth-year option, sign him to a long-term extension, or elect to trade or cut him.
If he hits a lower gear than he did in 2024, he arguably could be in the danger zone. If he bounces back, however, he arguably could still save a path to a long-term deal.
