Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals will enter Week 18 of the NFL season with a chance of making the playoffs. The team had a heroic win against the Denver Broncos in overtime, keeping their postseason chances alive, with the Broncos now sitting with the 7th seed.

Burrow had a heroic performance. The quarterback ended the game with 39 completed passes out of 49 attempts, 412 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, including the game-winning touchdown to finish the 30-24 score against the Broncos. With the win, Cincinnati is now 8-8 with a chance to play in the playoffs.

After the game, former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker and current ESPN analyst Emmanuel Acho warned the AFC teams about the chances of the Bengals making the playoffs: no matter their record or what you think of them, you don't want to play Joe Burrow in the playoffs.

The 8-8 record now keeps Zac Taylor's team alive in the playoff run with a single week to go, as they have the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Denver Broncos, who sit with a 9-7 record. A win for Cincinnati, along with a loss for Denver, would take Joe Burrow's team to the playoffs.

The problem is that the Broncos will play against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18, but not their scary version: the Chiefs have a 15-1 record and the first seed in the AFC is already locked up, which will lead to extra rest for Patrick Mahomes.

Cincinnati Bengals, Joe Burrow to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18

The final straw in Cincinnati's regular season will be their old division rivals. The Steelers currently hold a 10-6 record and they're already qualified for the playoffs, but they're also coming from a three-game losing streak which has taken away the AFC North lead from them.

Although they have no reason to rest the starters with the division still up for grabs, the Steelers could take away some of their key players late in the game depending on how the race for the AFC North crown goes, which would help the Bengals to win the number nine.
