Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris did not receive a warm notice from NFL fans after his team beat the New Orleans Saints on Sunday., That's because, even though he walked away with a divisional win, fantasy managers were upset to the lack of catches from Kyle Pitts during the game.

Surely, Morris has much better things to do with his life than care about fantasy managers, but it's also impossible to ask fantasy managers to be rational. As he celebrated the win, he couldn't care less about which players got the ball - this is something to think better from the upcoming week.

But it's worth saying again: if you expect fantasy managers to be rational, then you're the one at fault. And they were ready to slam the head coach after his comments:

This was an efficient game by Atlanta's offense with or without Kyle Pitts. They scored 26 points, ran the ball with over 5.0 yards per carry and Kirk Cousins also moved the ball well, even if he didn't threw a single touchdown during the game. The Falcons defeated the New Orleans Saints 26-28 following a last-second field goal by Younghoe Koo.

Is Kyle Pitts a good fantasy football player? Raheem Morris should design more targets?

Expectations have been dying for the tight end after yet another disappointing season. Everything that could've gone wrong for Pitts went wrong in 2023, with the tight end missing many games due to an injury and not producing enough when he was on the field. But the same things happened in 2024 and Raheem Morris seems fed up with him.

His ADP was around the sixth round but at this point is clear that he's not worth a high pick. His production is totally inconsistent and you can't count on him as a starter - merely as a backup to take one or two flyers when the matchup is favorable.

Atlanta is sitting at 2-2 but they now have bigger and better weapons to construct the offense around - the tight end is going to be an afterthought for most games. You can start looking for better tight end options for your team in 2024.
