The NFC championship game between the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles is set for Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Commanders want to make it to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1991, but they need to defeat the Eagles, who finished second in the NFC.

Sunday's game will be the Eagles' third conference title trip in eight seasons, and second in the last three campaigns. The team won its last two NFC championship games and will now try to make it three in a row.

Here, we will take a look at the Eagles' injury report before the NFC championship showdown at Philadelphia.

Eagles injury report for NFC Championship round vs. Commanders

In preparation for their NFC Championship matchup with the Washington Commanders, the Philadelphia Eagles released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday. However, because the team conducted a walkthrough rather than a regular practice, this report is an estimate.

Prior to the walkthrough, head coach Nick Sirianni informed reporters that cornerback Quinyon Mitchell (shoulder) and quarterback Jalen Hurts (knee) would both take part. On the practice report, however, they were both noted as limited participants.

Mitchell hurt his shoulder early in last weekend's divisional playoff matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. He was later ruled out of the game after being earlier labeled as questionable to return.

Mitchell said that there are no limitations on him, indicating that he is on track to play on Sunday after being marked as limited on the injury report on Wednesday.

In Wednesday's report, wide receivers A.J. Brown (knee/rest), Britain Covey (neck), offensive lineman Lane Johnson (knee/rest), and outside linebacker Josh Sweat (ankle/rest) were also listed as limited. However, none of them seem to have any significant problems.

Additionally, the report classified center Cam Jurgens (back) and tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) as DNP, indicating that they would not have participated in a practice if the Eagles conducted one. When the team holds an actual practice on Thursday, we'll find out more about both of them.

Jalen Hurts injury update

Jalen Hurts sustained a knee injury in Sunday's divisional round win over the Rams. Although he didn't miss a snap following the injury, his movement was restricted late in the second half.

Hurts was limited in practice on Wednesday, but it's almost certain that he will play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game. It's unclear, though, if he will be in his best shape during the game.

Dallas Goedert injury update

Dallas Goedert missed seven games in the regular season due to injuries. He did, however, play in the first two games of the playoffs and performed well.

Goedert was a surprise addition to Wednesday's injury report as a non-participant in the team's walkthrough. He was listed with an ankle issue.

It's not clear where or how Goedert suffered the injury, but we will get a better idea of his status ahead of the NFC Championship game when the Eagles hold practice on Thursday and Friday.
