How are players selected to participate in the NFL Combine 2024?
Every year, the NFL decides who to invite to the Combine through the event's "Player Selection Committee." The committee consists of National and BLESTO scouting services and members of numerous NFL player personnel departments.
All 32 NFL franchises are invited to provide input on draft-eligible prospects before selections to the Combine are made.
2024 NFL Combine Drills
There are six drills in the NFL Scouting Combine, and excellence in these drills could define the beginning of a prospect's career. It's important to note that each drill determines a player's skill set, but care should be taken in examining performances.
For instance, a wide receiver often beats an offensive lineman in the 40-yard dash. On the other hand, it'll take a lot for said offensive lineman to lose to the same wide receiver in the bench press.
Each event has its uses, and an excellent showing in such an event could go a long way in improving a player's Draft stock or otherwise.
