NFL Draft 2025 location: All you need to know about plans for Drew Allar's class

On Monday, it was confirmed that the 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The three-day event will take place inside and around Lambeau Field and its nearby Titletown entertainment district. With an expected 250,000 visitors for the grand occasion, the draft is set to become the largest event ever held in Green Bay, which has a population of less than 110,000.

Interestingly, the NFL is giving a cold-weather franchise the opportunity to host the biggest event in the offseason since New York in 2015. The draft has since been held in Chicago (2015-16), Philadelphia (2017), Dallas (2018), Nashville (2019), Las Vegas (2022) and Kansas City (2023).

Meanwhile, next year's draft will take place from April 25-27, 2024, in Detroit.

Green Bay Packers president Mark Murphy revealed that the NFL draft has been nearly a decade in the making.

According to reports the Packers first applied to host the event in 2016. However, the NFL pushed them to answer questions about hotel space and transportation infrastructure.

Nonetheless, Green Bay appears to have passed all the league tests to host the draft in 2025. It will be the first time that the NFL draft will be held in Green Bay and the second time it will take place in Wisconsin.

The first time the draft was held in Wisconsin was back in December 1939 at the Schroeder Hotel in Milwaukee.

Michigan Wolverines cornerback Will Johnson is another top prospect who will enter the frame in 2025. The 20-year-old has already impressed many and is expected to be a top-three pick when his time comes.

Penn State Nittany Lions quarterback Drew Allar enjoyed a spectacular freshman season with the team in 2022. He flaunted his incredible passing range by throwing for 344 yards on 35 passes with four touchdowns.
