Tom Brady is returning to his hometown area in Week 14 of the 2022 NFL season when the San Francisco 49ers host his Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady is from San Mateo, California, located near San Francisco in Northern California.
He reportedly still has a ton of family and friends who live in the area. While many of them apparently grew up 49ers fans, like Brady did, they support and cheer for his NFL career.
Brady reportedly invited many of these supporters to attend the game. He, of course, got all of them tickets, as NFL players are often able to do.

While acquiring 83 tickets to the game for friends and family is an honorable gesture, the seats were apparently in the nosebleed section of Levi's Stadium, 49ers' home field.
Many NFL fans took issue with this as they pointed out that Tom Brady can afford to get them much better tickets. Some fans went on Twitter to share their thoughts on the situation, including some of these top comments.
As many NFL fans have pointed out, the nosebleed section tickets are the ones that Tom Brady received from the 49ers' front office when he requested that his large group be seated together. He didn't purchase these tickets, but he could surely afford to buy them much better seats if he wanted to.
He is currently the richest player in the NFL with a massive net worth, estimated at around $250 million.
This game against the 49ers is an extremely important one for Brady. This isn't just because his massive group of supporters will be in attendance, but also because he and the Buccaneers have struggled a bit during the 2022 NFL season.

The last time the Buccaneers were above .500 was all the way back in Week 5 following a victory over the Atlanta Falcons to bring them to 3-2 for the 2022 NFL season. The Buccaneers lost their next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, starting a three-game losing streak.
The Buccaneers have finally battled all the way back to .500 as they are 6-6 entering Week 14 of the 2022 NFL season. They defeated the New Orleans Saints in their most recent game, thanks to a vintage performance by Tom Brady.
The Buccaneers trailed for the entire game until Brady led them on two touchdown drives later in the fourth quarter to steal a victory.
The Buccaneers will be looking to build on their most recent victory and gain some momentum as they make their push towards the NFL Playoffs. A homecoming against the 49ers may give Tom Brady a little extra motivation to put together a solid performance.
