Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson is quickly discovering that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. His switch from Seattle to Denver was supposed to make the Broncos one of the Super Bowl favorites, instead, they look like they will miss the playoffs.
Sunday's loss to the previous 3-8 Carolina Panthers appears to be the last straw not only for Denver fans, but its players. Against the Panthers, Wilson could only muster 10 points and frustration boiled over between Wilson and defensive tackle Mike Purcell as the defender gave Wilson and almight spray.
NFL fans were quick to see this with one fan using Wilson's "Let's Ride" slogan against him.
"Bet he said "Let's Ride" 🤣."

The interaction is not an uncommon sight along NFL sidelines, but after the Denver defense has been so good in 2022, the offense has struggled, scoring only 20 or more points twice. That is unacceptable. NFL fans took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the altercation between the quarterback and his defensive lineman.
It appears that all fans are in agreement over the altercation. Many think it has been a long time coming with the Denver offense being one of the worst in the league, despite having Wilson at quarterback.
Russell Wilson and Broncos' season hits new low with Carolina loss
Denver was facing a team that has won just three games and had Sam Darnold starting for the first time in forever. Yet they still managed to lose by double digits in a loss that now puts serious heat on both head coach Nathaniel Hackett and his star quarterback.
The loss now drops the Broncos to 3-8 on the season. That is not what many had envisioned when they signed a Super Bowl winning quarterback in the offseason. Many have been calling for Hackett to be fired, as with Wilson, there is so much money still tied to him that the easiest thing to fix it the head coach.
It is an embarrassing new low for the Broncos, who had such high hopes entering the season. Their defense is playing like a Super Bowl team, but the offense for some reason just can't score points.
In their last three games, Denver has failed to score more than 17 points. That isn't good enough. Expect to see some serious heat come the franchise's way and there may be someone losing their job in the near future if results don't change.
