Quarterbacks are often the highest scoring players in Fantasy Football. They also average more fantasy points per week in their position as a whole than any other position during the 2022 Fantasy Football season. This makes it extremely important for fantasy managers to execute a proper strategy to optimize the quarterback position each week.

Certain elite options, such as Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, must start on a weekly basis in Fantasy Football. The rest of the field will usually depend on their specific situation each week. Fantasy managers would be wise to target quarterbacks who have turned in strong recent performances, while being featured in a matchup that creates a favorable situation for their fantasy score.
