Heading into Week 15, kickers have the potential to make or break your key fantasy football matchups, but just who should you be looking to select?
The battle to be the most prolific fantasy kicker through Week 14 is now between Justin Tucker, Tyler Bass and Daniel Carlson. All three players are tied on 129 points each heading into the upcoming round of games.
It has been a period of resurgence for Carlson with the Las Vegas Raiders, whilst the sheer consistency of Tucker has been admirable.
Week 15 brings to an end the period of bye weeks for the 2022 season and from this point forward, your selected kicker is guaranteed to play unless they’re injured.

All three of the premiere kickers in the NFL will be in action in Week 15, but it’s likely that they will already be selected in your fantasy leagues.
Who are the best available Fantasy Football kickers in Week 15?
#1 Justin Tucker – Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns
Justin Tucker is as reliable a kicker as you will find. He has been one of the best performing members of the Baltimore Ravens roster in 2022 and deserves his place atop this list.
So far this season, Tucker has averaged 9.9 fantasy points per game and has impressively hit 28 of his 31 field-goal attempts.
His return of 29 out of 30 extra-point attempts has taken his contribution to the Ravens’ season to 113 points in 13 games.
He will get his chances against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15, although the continued absence of Lamar Jackson does put the Ravens’ offense in jeopardy.
#2 Tyler Bass – Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins
Tyler Bass had a below par Week 14 in which he scored just nine points. It was a downturn in form after a number of weeks where he reigned as the best kicker from the NFL in fantasy football.
Week 15 promises to be a very challenging week for Bass, not least due to the conditions. If ever you needed a warning about not selecting a particular kicker, then it’s a prediction of seven inches of snow.
This makes kicking virtually impossible and it will be a miracle if Bass keeps to his average of 9.9 points per game on Sunday. However, the Buffalo Bills kicker will hope to maximize whatever opportunities he gets against the Miami Dolphins.
#3 Daniel Carlson – Las Vegas Raiders vs. New England Patriots
Daniel Carlson is back to his best, as shown by his return of 12 points in Week 14. He was the best kicker in the NFL in the first quarter of the 2022 season before things simply collapsed around him.
The Las Vegas Raiders' offense has rallied since then and he now stands level with Bass and Tucker on 129 fantasy football points.
Carlson and the Raiders will take on the New England Patriots in Week 15. New England has the best defense in the NFL through Week 14 and will not give Las Vegas easy chances to score.
It could be another week where Carlson is left on the sidelines more than he would like, which wouldn’t make this the smartest fantasy football pick.
#4 Jason Myers – Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers
Jason Myers has hit 24 of 25 field goals so far this season and has missed just one extra-point attempt. The Seattle Seahawks kicker is one of the most consistent in the NFL and would have scored far more points if he had been given more chances on the field.
In Week 15, Myers and Seattle will take on the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners have the third-best defense in the NFL heading into this week's game, which could pose some problems for the Seahawks.
Myers, if he gets a chance to kick a field goal, will very likely make it. He’s reliable when called upon and would be a smart pick for fantasy football general managers.
If the 49ers struggle to stop Seattle from chaining yardage together, there will be a lot of field goal attempts for Myers. A lot will depend on how well Geno Smith plays.
San Francisco is great at stopping teams from scoring, but the key in Week 15 will be how early they can shut down a drive. Whilst on paper it doesn’t appear a favorable matchup for Myers, fantasy football players may look to cause a surprise and put him in their line-up.
#5 Nick Folk – New England Patriots @ Las Vegas Raiders
The New England Patriots have had plenty of problems in the redzone. This has led to Nick Folk receiving plenty of chances so far in the 2022 NFL season.
His return of 27 for 32 on-field goals has hardly been outstanding, but the volume of kicks he has been given has allowed him to place this high up on the fantasy rankings.
In Week 15, the Patriots will be up against a Las Vegas Raiders defense that hasn’t been anything special in 2022. Consequently, you would expect New England to gain a lot of yards.
Failing to produce in the redzone will bring Folk onto the field and he should get a lot of chances to score points in Week 15.
