Week 16 of the 2022 Fantasy Football season is one of the most important of the year. This week will include playoff matchups in just about every fantasy league. Managers have no room for error, as a loss this week will likely end their 2022 Fantasy Football season. This makes it crucial to optimize starting lineups, creating the best possible situation for a potential victory.

Tight end is one of the most difficult positions to navigate in Fantasy Football. Most tight ends are extremely inconsistent and should only be trusted in fantasy lineups when playing in favorable NFL matchups. While Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce is an elite option every week regardless of his matchup, the rest of the field often requires strategy when making lineup decisions.

While no NFL team will have a bye week, injuries can still have an impact on the available options in the position for Week 16. The Philadelphia Eagles are expecting Dallas Goedert to make his return this week, while the Arizona Cardinals will continue to be without Zach Ertz.

Hayden Hurst and Kyle Pitts also remain sidelined with injuries, but every other starting tight end is locked in and ready to go.

The following rankings can help managers when finalizing their lineups for Week 16 of the 2022 Fantasy Football season. This can help sort through the challenging tight end position.
