NFL Inactives tonight: Who is out for 49ers vs Vikings on MNF in Week 7?

The San Francisco 49ers face the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football as they look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season last week to the Cleveland Browns.

With Kyle Shanahan's team thought to be one of the best teams in the NFL, they will again get a chance to show that against a Vikings team that is currently 2-4 and struggling to keep their head above water.

But as the nation watches on to see if the 49ers can steady the ship, who will be suiting up for both teams in this crunch game?

  • Ezra Cleveland G - Out - Foot
  • Justin Jefferson - WR Out-IR - Hamstring

Both teams are dealing with their own set of injury issues heading into this game, with San Francisco likely having the worst injury list, considering who is currently on it.

However, the Vikings without Jefferson leaves a monster hole in their offense as rookie Jordan Addison will need to step up.

Against the Browns last week, San Francisco QB Brock Purdy had a poor game without Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey. Tonight, he will be without Samuel and possibly McCaffrey as well.

Given how early it is in the season, Shanahan won't risk his star running back for a Week 7 game with his eyes clearly focused on the postseason.

For the Vikings, coming off a 19-13 win over the Chicago Bears last week, Kirk Cousins will likely rely on the run game with Alexander Mattison while also looking to veteran tight end TJ Hockenson and receivers in KJ Osborn and Addison to help cover the loss of Jefferson.

The Vikings have struggled all season and what better way to get their struggling season back on track than with a win over San Francisco with the whole nation watching.
