Kyler Murray returned to action this week and reminded everyone why he belongs in the NFL MVP race. He scored four total touchdowns in his first game in a month. He leads the entire NFL in completion percentage, passer rating and yards per completion. He shoots back into the top three of the power rankings and is a real threat to win his first NFL MVP award.
#2 - Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Last week: #2
Aaron Rodgers has still only lost one game since the first week of the season while leading the Green Bay Packers to the second-best record in the entire NFL. As he always does, Rodgers has an incredible touchdown-to-interception ratio this year. He has 23 touchdown passes against just four interceptions. He ranks in the top five in passer rating and QBR.
#1 - Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Last week: #1
Tom Brady has established himself as the clear favorite to win the NFL MVP award this season. He leads the entire NFL in passing yards, passing touchdowns and total touchdowns. If he continues at the pace he is playing, he is more than likely going to win the fourth NFL MVP award of his career. That's just one shy of the all-time record set by Peyton Manning.
