The conference championship round of the NFL playoffs features the final four teams, with two winners going to the Super Bowl. All four of them are loaded with talented players across the board, including having productive tight ends who are utilized in their offensive schemes.

No tight end fits this description more than Travis Kelce during his dominant career with the Kansas City Chiefs. He ranks among the top two players in NFL history in any position, along with Jerry Rice, in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns in the playoffs. Despite having a relatively down year during the 2024 season, he looked like his usual self in the Chiefs' first playoff game of this postseason.

Kelce dominated by recording seven receptions on eight targets for 117 yards and a touchdown. This makes him one of the key players to watch when Kansas City takes on the Buffalo Bills in the conference championship round. He struggled against them in their first meeting earlier this year, totaling just two receptions for eight yards, so it will be interesting to see if the Bills can contain him again.

On the other side of this matchup is Dalton Kincaid, who failed to meet his massive expectations this season but remains an important part of the Bills' passing attack. He has recorded three or more receptions in seven of his last 10 games and has exceeded 30 yards in six.

The Chiefs have struggled to cover tight ends this season, so Kincaid could play a major role in the outcome of this conference championship game.

Philadelphia Eagles' Dallas Goedert and Washington Commanders' Zach Ertz represent the two starting tight ends in the other game this weekend, and both of them have been trending in the right direction at the right time.

Goedert has totaled eight receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown in his two playoff games this year, while Ertz has scored seven touchdowns in his past nine games overall, including one last week.

The starting tight ends will likely play a role during the conference championship round, but each team uses its depth options in its offensive formations as well. Here's how all of them stack up in this week's power rankings.
