The Arizona Cardinals were finally beaten in a thriller against the Green Bay Packers. A miscommunication between Kyler Murray and A.J. Green led to a costly pick that sent the Cardinals home with a loss.
Apart from that loss, Murray remains one of the best QBs in the league and retains his top three spots. Murray's 2,276 passing yards are good for 4th in the league and his 110.4 passer rating keeps in 4th as well. Murray is currently on pace to win the league MVP, and he deserves every bit of that with his excellent play. An isolated interception incident against the Packers will likely be something he will correct immediately.
#2 - Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford continues to play dominant football at the QB position, week after week. He ranks 2nd in passing yards with 2,477. He ranks 2nd in passing touchdowns, with 22. His passer rating of 118.0 is 2nd best in the league as well. Stafford came to the Los Angeles Rams and elevated their offense to brand new heights.
Couple that with the skillset that Cooper Kupp possesses, and this duo will continue to shock the NFL world every week. Von Miller was also acquired in a trade, elevating the defense to a scary level. The Rams team now looks to be Super Bowl favorites.
#1 - Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week after week, Tom Brady continues to show that he has gotten better as a QB in his 40s than he was in his 20s. Something has happened in his genealogy to allow him to play this well. He still ranks first in yards with 2,650. He also ranks first with 25 passing touchdowns.
Even though the Bucs dropped the ball against the Saints and Brady threw a very rare two interceptions, he remains the top quarterback in the league. At 44 years old, Brady just can't be stopped.
