Derrick Henry has been one of the best running backs in the entire NFL during the 2022 season. This has become a trend for the Tennessee Titans superstar, who has dominated the league for years. No player has accumulated more rushing yards and touchdowns than Henry over the last four seasons.

Henry scored a rushing touchdown in Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season against the Green Bay Packers. It ended up being historic, as it was his tenth rushing touchdown of the year. He has joined an elite list of only five players in NFL history to rush for ten or more touchdowns in five consecutive seasons.

#1 - Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry has won two rushing titles in the last three seasons. He was on his way to a third consecutive one in 2021, but an injury cut his year short. He could make it three titles in four years during the 2022 NFL season, as he has already eclipsed 1,000 yards. Henry is one of only eight players to record 2,000 rushing yards in a single season.

Henry has scored 65 rushing touchdowns since the start of the 2018 season, including his most recent in Week 11 of the 2022 NFL season. He leads all players in this category and has shown no signs of slowing down this year.

#2 - Shaun Alexander

Shaun Alexander's career peak lasted five years, but he made them count. He was one of the best players in the league during that time. He was named the NFL MVP for the 2005 season and was selected to two All-Pro teams.

Alexander has recorded at least 14 rushing touchdowns in each of his five peak seasons, including 27 in his MVP campaign. His impressive run also included a rushing title while leading the league in touchdowns twice.

#3 - Michael Turner

Michael Turner spent the first three years of his career with the Los Angeles Chargers as a backup running back. He then joined the Atlanta Falcons, where his career took off. He was selected as a first-team All-Pro and finished as the runner-up for the NFL MVP award in his first year with the Falcons.

His breakout season was the beginning of a streak of five consecutive years with ten or more rushing touchdowns. His career ended with the streak still active, scoring ten rushing touchdowns in his last season in 2012.

#4 - Adrian Peterson

A case can be made that Adrian Peterson is the greatest running back of all time. He won three rushing titles during his career and was selected to seven All-Pro teams. He was the last non-quarterback to be named the NFL MVP when he won the award for the 2012 season.

Peterson scored 12 rushing touchdowns in his first year with the Minnesota Vikings on his way to being named the Offensive Rookie of the Year. He will go on to score double-digit rushing touchdowns in seven consecutive seasons. He then appeared in just one game due to an injury in 2014, ending his streak. He bounced back the following year with a third rushing title and 11 more rushing touchdowns.

#5 - LaDainian Tomlinson

LaDainian Tomlinson is one of the greatest running backs of all time. He began his career with eight consecutive seasons with at least 1,100 rushing yards and nine straight seasons with at least ten rushing touchdowns. He is the only player ever to do so.

Tomlinson also collected two rushing titles along the way and led the league in rushing touchdowns three times. One was during the 2006 season when he was named the NFL MVP. He scored 28 rushing touchdowns that year, the most in a single season by any player in NFL history.
