Haason Reddick had a breakout season for the Arizona Cardinals in 2020 with 12.5 sacks. He is now in his first season with the Carolina Panthers and is on pace to surpass that total and set a new career high. He has never missed a game in his entire career so far.

Reddick was a bit of a late bloomer as a pass rusher. He recorded just 7.5 sacks across his first 48 games played, but has now accounted for 23 sacks in his last 27 games. He has helped the Panthers to the second-ranked total defense in the NFL.

#2 - T.J. Watt, Pittsburgh Steelers - 12.5 sacks

T.J. Watt has the second-most sacks in the NFL this season, even though he has played in fewer games. He has appeared in just eight games but has still managed to get 12.5 sacks. That's more than 1.5 sacks per game, the highest rate in the NFL by a wide margin.

T.J. Watt has been one of the most consistent pass rushers in the NFL over the last few seasons. This is already his fourth year in a row where he has accounted for double-digit sacks. He has close to half of the Steelers' 28 sacks as a team this year, the seventh most in the league.

#1 - Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns - 13 sacks

Myles Garrett currently leads the NFL with 13 sacks in the 2021 NFL season. This is his fourth consecutive season with double-digit sacks, and he is just one sack away from setting a new single-season career high. He should get there easily, as long as he stays healthy, as he averages over a sack per game this year.

Myles Garrett is making a strong case for Defensive Player of the Year. He is currently on pace to record 20 sacks this season. He has helped the Browns to 29 team sacks, the fourth most in the NFL.
