Only a few weeks remain until the 2024 NFL season kicks off, with the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, the defending Super Bowl champions, playing in the first regular season game on Sep. 5. In the upcoming regular season, users of NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube and YouTube TV may anticipate several new features.

A blog post by YouTube states that stronger fantasy integrations, multi-view enhancements and the addition of a new Fantasy View partner will allow Sunday Ticket users to catch the games distinctly than they did in 2023.

No custom multiviews were available in Google's first Sunday Ticket season in 2023.

During the Sunday game windows last year, Sunday Ticket customers could only choose certain combinations. However, Sunday Ticket customers can choose nearly any combination of up to four games beginning in the first week of the new season. The catch is that there won't be as many combinations for local game broadcasts.

Multi-view will be accessible on TVs, tablets and mobile devices for YouTube users of Sunday Ticket at the beginning of the NFL season.

Like a change YouTube introduced to its watching experience earlier this year, the new video player feature will allow YouTube TV viewers to switch between statistics, results and highlights from previous games in a juxtaposed window to current action.

According to YouTube's publication, viewers of YouTube TV this year will have the option to link their Yahoo Fantasy accounts to Fantasy View, enabling them to monitor their respective teams while simultaneously keeping a tab on the action.

Fantasy View on YouTube TV is available to users on TVs and mobile devices. Customers can access the "Sports" option inside their mobile device's account settings to link a fantasy account.

How much is an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription in 2024?

Football fans have the chance to watch Sunday afternoon NFL regular season games that aren't broadcast locally on YouTube, thanks to NFL Sunday Ticket.

YouTube TV signed a $14 billion, seven-year contract to get the NFL Sunday Ticket rights ahead of the 2023 season. But a lot of people have made their dissatisfaction known about how expensive the package is.

The full season cost is $349, but fans can take advantage of a number of incentives to encourage them to pay for bundles. The NFL Sunday Ticket and YouTube TV combo is available ahead of the 2024 season for $179, saving customers $170 in total.

In addition, viewers can enjoy YouTube TV for just $57.99 a month for the first three months — a significant discount from the regular $72.99.
