Rihanna and Jay-Z perform at the Paralympics Games

The 2023 NFL Super Bowl is just over a month away, and the apparatuses are being put in place for the big day. The Super Bowl is the culmination of over 20 weeks' worth of American football, and it is the pinnacle of the NFL. The game is watched by hundreds of millions of people and has developed quite a following over time.

This year's Super Bowl is bound to be the most significant in years, as it will involve a full crowd for the first time since 2019. The 2020 and 2021 Super Bowl games were held amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has subsided over time.

32 teams have been battling to partake in the 2023 iteration of the Super Bowl, and at the time of writing, only 14 teams remain. With the crowds back, the Super Bowl Halftime Show will take place in front of a raucous crowd.

Barbados' famous singer Rihanna is the sole confirmed performer for next month's Super Bowl game. Rihanna is a multiplatinum-selling singer and the recipient of several Grammy Awards. Rihanna will return to performing at the Super Bowl, and the organizers couldn't have asked for a more hyped performer.

Rihanna's booking is largely due to the NFL's partnership with Roc Nation, the singer's parent record label.

Whether Rihanna will perform solo on that day or invite some of her illustrious collaborators to join in the fanfare remains to be seen. The serial hitmaker has collaborated with global superstars such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Shakira, and many more.

Rihanna's booking is yet another win for the NFL, as they are on a row with top-notch halftime show performers. Last year, they brought Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar to the party. It remains to be seen what other surprises the league has in store.

When is NFL Super Bowl 2023?

The 2023 NFL Super Bowl will occur on Sunday, February 12, at 6:30 PM ET. It will be broadcast for viewing on the FOX TV Network. Furthermore, it is important to note that players and coaches of the Super Bowl finalists will make their first appearance in the southwest at NFL Super Bowl Opening Night.

That appearance will occur at the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on February 6.

Where is NFL Super Bowl 2023?

The 2023 iteration of the Super Bowl will take place at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The State Farm Stadium is the home of the Kyler Murray-led Arizona Cardinals and has an air of significance this year.

The reason is that this will be the first Super Bowl in three years, which the host team won't partake in nor win. The last two Super Bowl winners won the game at their home stadiums.

The State Farm Stadium has hosted two NFL Super Bowls — Super Bowl XLII in 2008 and Super Bowl XLIX in 2015. You might remember Super Bowl XLIX for Pete Carroll's questionable decision to make a throw rather than run the ball. Malcolm Butler intercepted the throw, and like they say, the rest is history.
