The Buffalo Bills were the clear odds-on favorites to play in/win Super Bowl LVI coming into the season. The Philadelphia Eagles, who have the best record in the entire NFL this season, and the Kansas City Chiefs, who won the AFC West in Week 15, are the two other teams closely following the Bills in terms of their likelihood of winning the Super Bowl.
Outside of the "big three," there are three additional teams who have distinguished themselves from other teams in the league, with the NFC West table toppers San Francisco 49ers at the top of the list. The Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals, who both have marks of 10-4 for the season, are also in the mix.
With a victory over the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night at home, the Bills secured a place in the postseason games. After winning five straight games, the team is now 11-3 for the season. Finishing the AFC East as leaders is the next task on the agenda, before securing the top seed in the league. For the Buffalo Bills not to win the division, they will have to be defeated in their remaining games while the Miami Dolphins win their remaining games. The Bills travel to Chicago this week to face the Bears.

Are the Buffalo Bills in good form heading into the playoffs?
Earlier in November, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills experienced a brief downturn, dropping two straight contests against the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings. However, they have since rebounded with five straight victories, including a victory against the Jets in Week 14.
Buffalo Bills' record in the Super Bowl / Playoffs
In the Super Bowl, the Bills are 0-4 in their history. Sports commentators and bookmakers believe this could ultimately be the season that the Super Bowl goes to the Buffalo Bills. Given the near-mythological reputation of Josh Allen among supporters and the group's recent performances, that is not a ridiculous prediction.
Since 1993, the Bills haven't even advanced to the Super Bowl, and the team's recent postseason outings have all ended in failure. This season, with Allen, Stefon Diggs, Devin Singletary, and Gabe Davis, they have the team to succeed.
The Bills have made the postseason in four successive campaigns for just the third time in the team's history, and this is their third straight season of 11 or more victories.
In five of his first six years in charge, Sean McDermott has led the Bills to the playoffs.
