The NFL Top 100 players is a comprehensive list of the best performers of each season. Quarterbacks reign supreme by claiming the top spots. Each season players outdo themselves to perform for their teams. The end of the 2021-22 season marked another stellar season for the players in the list. A group of NFL players vote for this list to rank the best amongst themselves causing surprises, spurs and upsets. Here is a look at the top 100 NFL players of 2021.

Who is the best player in the NFL

The NFL Top 100 is decided through an offseason poll where the players all vote for their peers as per their performances throughout one season. Currently, Patrick Mahomes can be rated as the best player in the NFL as per his rankings in the NFL Top 100. Aaron Rodgers edged out with the NFL MVP award in 2021 but peers felt that Patrick Mahomes deserved the honor of being 1st in the NFL Top 100. He went 14-1 in the 2021 season with a total of 4740 passing yards, 38 touchdowns and only six interceptions. His 2021 ranking is also based on his Super Bowl appearance against the eventual winners Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although he lost the Super Bowl and the NFL MVP award, the young quarterback still remains a very prominent player for the Chiefs.
