The NFL Trade Deadline is rapidly approaching. This is the last time playoff-bound teams can try and improve their roster with trades in hopes of winning the Super Bowl. The deadline is also a chance for teams to get some draft picks to help with their rebuild.
The 2023 NFL Trade Deadline is set for Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. ET, which is the Tuesday after Week 8. The deadline was moved back a few weeks to hopefully add more trades, as teams have a better idea of where they stand following Week 8.

The NFL trade deadline usually isn't as active as the NHL, NBA and MLB deadlines, but deals still do get done.
On paper, any team who are in playoff contention will look to improve but some are more obvious than others. The Dallas Cowboys are dealing with some key injuries on their defense and should look to add a starter to help their defense, which has struggled at times.
The Buffalo Bills, who are off to a 4-3 start, should also be considered buyers, with Buffalo looking to add to its defense and possibly a wide receiver. The Bills have lost Tre'Davious White, Matt Milano and DaQuan Jones for the year, so a linebacker, defensive tackle and a depth cornerback could all be something Buffalo looks to add.
Other teams that will be buyers are the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Ravens, among others.
Which teams will be sellers at the NFL Trade Deadline?
There will be more buyers than there are sellers at the NFL Trade Deadline, which could result in the acquisition cost skyrocketing.
Some of the sellers will be the Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, New York Giants and Carolina Panthers, among others. The Minnesota Vikings are one of the more intriguing teams, as they could be sellers or buyers.
All those teams likely won't make the playoffs, so could look to trade pending free agents to get something back for them.
NFL Trade Deadline Rumors: Jerry Jeudy, Derrick Henry, likely on the move
Some of the potential trade targets for the NFL Trade Deadline include Derrick Henry, Jerry Jeudy, Harrison Smith and Danielle Hunter, among others.
Henry has been rumored to be in trade talks as he's in the final year of his deal. The Tennessee Titans are likely out of playoff contention, and Henry is still playing at a high level, so could be a trade target for many playoff-bound teams.
The other name that is likely to be traded is Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy has caught 25 passes for 286 yards this season and could be a wide receiver two or three for a playoff team.
