Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton suffered a wrist injury in Week 7's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Bolton had already missed three games this season due to an ankle injury prior to returning in Week 6.

As per reports, Nick Bolton will have surgery on his dislocated wrist and is expected to miss around two months. If everything goes well, he could be back around Week 17.

This is a big blow for the Kansas City Chiefs, as their defense has been very dominant so far. In seven games, they haven't allowed any team to score 21 points, and this is a great accomplishment considering how poor they were in the past few seasons.

Drue Tranquill is expected to become a starter in Bolton's absence, and the franchise is likely to sign Frank Clark as well. Chris Jones, Willie Gay, and George Karlaftis will continue to get better over the course of the season, while their star cornerback Trent McDuffie has been lights out.
