Nick Bosa has been a defensive stalwart for the San Francisco 49ers since the 2019 season. After a phenomenal collegiate career at Ohio State, Bosa was the second overall draft pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Since his rookie season, Bosa has been a defensive anchor for a 49ers time that regularly ranks among the top of the league in defensive metrics. Due to his defensive presence, Nick was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Over the years, he’s shown further improvement, leading a top-ranked defensive 49ers team to Super Bowl LIV.

Even though the 49ers ultimately fell short, Bosa came back the following year looking better than ever. He compiled a phenomenal season en route to a first-team All-Pro selection along with winning his first, presumably of many, NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award. In three of his first four years in the league, Nicky Bosa has been a feature at the Pro Bowls.

Coming from a long line of footballers, Nick Bosa is the son of NFL Defensive End John Bosa and is the elder brother to the Los Angeles Chargers linebacker, Joey Bosa.

What is Nick Bosa’s Age?

Nicholas John Bosa Bosa was born on October 23, 1997, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As of July 2023, Nick Bosa is 25 years old. Later this year, the defensive specialist will turn 26, entering his prime. While he is among the younger crop when it comes to premier receiving threats, Bosa has become a standout defensive player and has quickly cemented his place amongst the best players in the league.

Coming off his best professional year, Bosa looks set to improve from his career year. Playing for a premier franchise like the San Francisco 49ers, it seems like a championship is always looming. Thankfully, the elder Bosa brother has already proven his mettle as a defensive ace
