The Seahawks picked him in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft after he played for the South Carolina Gamecocks from 2022 to 2024. At the NFL Scouting Combine, he ran a 4.38-second 40-yard dash, recorded a 43-inch vertical jump, and clocked in a 1.49-second 10-yard split. With a prospect grade of 6.41, he is projected as a good backup with the potential to develop into a starter at the next level.
