The Chiefs won the toss and the Eagles started the game. Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith of the Eagles completed the team’s first drive of 75 yards in 11 plays and 2 rushes. Jalen Hurts helped the team get a 7-0 lead. However, Isaiah Pacheco, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Chiefs helped to even the score. Unfortunately, Jalen Hurts lost the ball while Nick Bolton of the Chiefs recovered it leading to the opponent team getting an advantage. Britain Covey of the Eagles provided the team with an opportunity to score a field goal however, Trent McDuffle of the Chiefs prevented it by tackling Kenneth Gainwell of the Eagles.

James Bradberry of the Eagles also received a penalty for holding during the game.
