Nicholas John Sirianni is a football coach originating from America. As of January 2025, he is the head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL. He has coached for 15 years in the league before the start of the 2024 season. Born in Jamestown, New York, United States, Sirianni was a wide receiver in college and the Canton Legends of the AIF (American Indoor Football League) before transitioning to a football coach. Since then, he has coached a variety of teams including college and NFL. Nick Sirianni’s coaching resume includes developing and preparing players for the teams he has worked for. Under his coaching and guidance, many players have improved their careers and become well-known.

Nick Sirianni as a head coach has posted a win-loss record of 47-20 with a win percentage of .701 in the regular season as per Por Football Reference. For the postseason, he has achieved a win-loss record of 2-3 with a win percentage of .400. He is proving to be a good head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. However, after a second-half debacle in the 2023 season, pressure has surely increased on Sirianni to get better results in 2024 and go deep into the playoffs.

Has Nick Sirianni ever won a Super Bowl?

As of January 2025, Nick Sirianni has yet to win a Super Bowl as a head coach with the Philadelphia Eagles. Nevertheless, he did take his team up to the Super Bowl LVII where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Super Bowl LVII

Super Bowl LVII was held between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs to establish the 2022 NFL season champion. It happened on February 12, 2023. The Chiefs won the toss and the Eagles started the game. Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith of the Eagles completed the team’s first drive of 75 yards in 11 plays and 2 rushes. Jalen Hurts helped the team get a 7-0 lead. However, Isaiah Pacheco, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Chiefs helped to even the score. Unfortunately, Jalen Hurts lost the ball while Nick Bolton of the Chiefs recovered it leading to the opponent team getting an advantage. Britain Covey of the Eagles provided the team with an opportunity to score a field goal however, Trent McDuffle of the Chiefs prevented it by tackling Kenneth Gainwell of the Eagles.

For the second half of the game, the Eagles completed 2 17-yard passes through Jalen Hurts and Dallas Goedert. Arryn Siposs of the Eagles made a poor punt. James Bradberry of the Eagles also received a penalty for holding during the game. Eventually, the offensive side of the Kansas City Chiefs proved to be too much for the Philadelphia Eagles to overcome. They lost the game to their opponents with a score of 35-38.

Kansas City Chiefs

This was Nick Sirianni’s first team in the NFL. In 2009, head coach Todd Haley recruited him as an offensive quality control coach for the team. He improved the offensive side of the team and new head coach Romeo Crennel retained him in his staff. Nevertheless, he departed from the team under new head coach Andy Reid.

Los Angeles Chargers (Former San Diego Chargers)

Next, Nick Sirianni was recruited by head coach Mike McCoy for the Sean Diego Chargers in 2013. During his tenure with the team, he coached and improved quarterback Philip Rivers. He was also promoted to wide receivers coach in 2016. He remained in the position till 2018 when he departed from the team.

Indianapolis Colts

Nick Sirianni joined the Indianapolis Colts as the offensive coordinator in 2018 under head coach Frank Reich. He prepared and coached quarterbacks like Philip Rivers, Jacoby Brissett and Andrew Luck. Under his guidance, the Colts appeared in the playoffs twice. He departed from the team in 2021.
