Early on in his life, Nolan Smith discovered a passion for football, and in the short span of his professional career, he has emerged as one of the most in-demand American football players.

Both Calvary Day School and IMG Academy were attended by Nolan Smith. 88 tackles, 10.5 sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and participation in 15 games over two years were recorded.

Nolan was rated as the best player in the country and the 20th-best player overall. He was compared to Pro Star pass rusher Khalil Mack.

As a senior, he was named to the USA Today All-USA high school football squad and the MaxPreps first team All-American football team. Smith consented to participate in collegiate football for the University of Georgia. During his debut season, Nolan participated in 11 games and recorded 2.5 sacks and 18 tackles. In the opening game at home against Murray State, Nolan recorded 3 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Nolan Smith participated in all 10 of the regular-season games in 2020, recording 2.5 sacks and 22 tackles. In 2022, Nolan's season was sadly cut short by an injury. He recorded three sacks, seven tackles, and 16 quarterback hurries at the end of the regular season.

He was a linebacker on the outside for the Georgia Bulldogs. He won consecutively CFP championship titles in 2021 and 2022 with the Bulldogs.
