Coming from the Manning football dynasty, Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to grace the football field. Peyton spent 18 seasons in the NFL and was inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021 class.

The second son of NFL quarterback, Archie Manning, and older brother to Eli Manning, Peyton started his career at the University of Tennessee as a college football player, where he won the Maxwell, Davey O'Brien, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awards. Coming into the NFL, he was regarded as one of the greatest prospects of all time.

Drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1998 NFL draft, He served as the starting quarterback from 1998 to 2010. In that timespan, he transformed the Colts from a struggling franchise into a consistent playoff contender. During his 14 seasons, he led them to 11 playoff appearances, eight divisional titles, three AFC championship games, two Super Bowl appearances, and the championship title in Super Bowl XLI.

A shift to the Denver Broncos saw him repeat the same success as he held him climbs that division title in each of his 4 seasons, while making two more Super Bowls. A Super Bowl victory in the 50th iteration of the event saw Manning call it a career.

One of the most decorated players in NFL history, Manning holds many NFL records, including MVP awards, 4,000-yard passing seasons, single-season passing yards, and single-season passing touchdowns.

What is Peyton Manning’s Height?

Peyton Manning was born to the Manning football dynasty on March 24th, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Peyton Manning has a recorded height of 6 feet and 5 inches or 1.96 meters. This height is slightly more than the average height of quarterbacks in the NFL. As a result, it allowed Manning to accumulate one of the greatest careers of all time.

While his height may provide a slight advantage to Manning, It has not been the only thing to define a scale. His pinpoint accuracy, consistency, and ability to remain calm under pressure have solidified his position among the all-time greats.

As he enjoys retirement, Manning remains among the greatest quarterbacks the game has ever seen.
