The Philadelphia Eagles are set to play their fifth game of the season this week against the struggling Cleveland Browns after taking a bye last week. The Browns were terrible once more in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders, losing badly to Jayden Daniels and co. on Sunday by a margin of 21 points.

The Eagles must have had ample time to regroup during the bye week. Additionally, the team may get healthy players like OT Lane Johnson, WR DeVonta Smith, and WR A.J. Brown, back in Week 6, just in time to help them move up the NFC standings.

Philadelphia Eagles injury report

Fortunately for the Philadelphia Eagles, there are no players with any injury designations for their Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns on their final injury report, which was made public on Friday.

Safety Reed Blankenship (illness), safety Sydney Brown (knee), offensive tackle Lane Johnson (concussion), wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring), wide receiver DeVonta Smith (concussion), linebacker Nakobe Dean (ankle), wide receiver Ainias Smith (ankle), and wide receiver Johnny Wilson (concussion) were all listed on the team's injury report this week, but they will all be available for selection on Sunday.

A.J. Brown's injury update

For the first time since Week 1, wide receiver A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles will be available for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

"I'm 100 percent healthy and ready to play," declared Brown on Friday after missing the team's last three games because of hamstring problems.

The star wide receiver scored a touchdown and gained 119 yards on five receptions in the season's opening victory over the Green Bay Packers in his lone game this year.

DeVonta Smith's injury update

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith has cleared concussion protocol and will be available against the Cleveland Browns after missing the Philadelphia Eagles' last game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in September due to a head injury.

Smith had demonstrated dependability in the Eagles' system prior to that injury, racking up 21 catches for 239 yards and one touchdown in just three games.

A.J. Brown and a healthy Smith will exert every effort to keep the 2-2 Eagles from dropping below .500 against Cleveland on Sunday.

Lane Johnson's injury update

Lane Johnson will return to the Eagles' lineup this week for the first time since he suffered a concussion during the second quarter of the team's matchup with the New Orleans Saints in Week 3.

Johnson was still in concussion protocol by the time the Birds played their last game in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he has now cleared the protocol before the team faces the Browns in Week 6.

The return of Johnson to fitness will be a major plus for the Eagles’ offensive flow in Week 6, particularly when facing the powerful pass rush of the Browns, which is led by Myles Garrett and Za'Darius Smith.
