The Bengals were without Tee Higgins in Week 8. This was Jalen Hurts' first matchup against Joe Burrow in the NFL, and whichever team comes away with a win in this game will be grouped among the Super Bowl contenders.
Hurts scored a touchdown at the end of the second half, and the score was tied at 10-10 at the break. The Eagles built on it in the second half and came away with a 34-17 win. With this win against the Bengals on the road, the Eagles silenced all their critics.
The Bengals' defense once again struggled to stop a quality opponent and gave up 37 points. It was tough for Burrow to compete in a high-scoring game without Higgins, and Cincinnati suffered their fifth loss of the season.

The Eagles have now won three straight games since their bye week and have put the league on notice. Hurts rushed in for three touchdowns, along with a 45-yard-touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith.
After struggles at the start of the season, the Eagles quarterback has not turned the ball over once in the last three games and is looking more like he did two years ago. Philadelphia is now 5-2 on the season and will face the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.
