Playoff fantasy football continues to grow in popularity, giving managers a postseason format to continue competing beyond the regular season. The additional challenge of these leagues is the limited player pool to choose from, which shrinks even further as teams are eliminated.
The Divisional round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs features the final eight teams on their quest to winning a potential Super Bowl ring. This means that fantasy football lineups can only consist of players from these eight teams, unlike the regualr season, which sometimes has 32 teams to choose from.
One of the positions most affected by the minimal player pool are the tight ends. Not many elite options are available in this position during the regular season, so the playoffs makes it even more difficult to navigate. Luckily for fantasy managers, some of the best tight ends in the NFL are still competing in the playoffs.
The elite class of fantasy football tight ends still playing the Divisional round are Travis Kelce, Sam LaPorta and Mark Andrews. They are in a class of their own as the clear top three options this week and have been staples among the top 10 players in their position during most of the 2024 regular season as well.

Diving deeper beyond the obvious top-three options gives managers an opportunity to gain an edge on their playoff fantasy football leagues. One of those to consider for starting lineups this week is Dallas Goedert now that he is fully healthy again for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Goedert missed about month with an injury, but returned for their Week 18 game against the New York Giants, depite the Eagles resting most of their starters. He showed promising results in his first game back, totaling four receptions on six targets for 55 yards, and followed that up with another solid performance last week in the Wild Card round.
The veteran matched his volume with four receptions on six targets, but this time it resulted in 47 yards and a touchdown. This gives him plenty of momentum entering the Divisional round and makes him a high-upside option at a much cheaper price, especially in DFS formats, than the top three tight ends.
The following rankings demonstrate which tight ends should be priortized when setting fantasy football lineups this week. Here's where Goedert and all of the options currently stand.
