The second season of Puka Nacua's career has been heavily affected by injuries. The star wide receiver lost more than a month following an injury to his knee and, when he returned, he was a dominant force for the Los Angeles Rams right from the gate, with a 106-yard performance against the Minnesota Vikings.

Although Nacua rose to stardom in 2023, he's still a second-year wide receiver whose rookie contract is one of the greatest assets in the league. Along with Cooper Kupp, he gives one of the best wide receiver duos for the Rams, and every time he's playing, Matthew Stafford has a great weapon.

Unsurprisingly, he was the leading receiver for Los Angeles at halftime, with more catches and receiving yards, although the Rams did not score a touchdown. He continued to be Stafford's favorite target throughout the game, getting extremely close to the 100-yard mark.

Once again, he excelled in his connection with Stafford and made great plays all game long. With four catches in the first half and five more in the second, Nacua was a problem to Anthony Weaver's defense all day long, even if the Rams couldn't score a touchdown throughout the whole game.

His excellent route-running and body control allow him to position himself in deeper zones to attack zone coverages from opposing defenses. He made a great cut to the left and positioned himself with just enough space to make the catch over cornerback Kendall Fuller.

Puka was selected with the 177th pick by the Los Angeles Rams in 2023. He led all rookies in receptions and receiving yards, breaking many records. He had seven games with at least 100 receiving yards. He has only one in 2024, but his injury is the reason why: as he has played in just four games so far.
