Mitchell was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday due to his shoulder injury. The Eagles will host practice sessions on Thursday and Friday as well before welcoming the Commanders to Lincoln Financial Field.

It will be interesting to see whether Mitchell can log in two full practice sessions before the conference title contest. If he can do so, the Eagles should field him for the NFC title game. As per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Mitchell is likely to play against the Commanders.

Per reports, Mitchell sustained his shoulder injury in the first quarter of the divisional round clash against the LA Rams. He was ruled out for the rest of the game.

However, Philly will want its star rookie cornerback available for the clash against Washington on Sunday. The first-round pick has grown into an important defensive player for the Eagles and even earned a selection to the PFWA NFL All-Rookie Team.

How has Eagles CB Quinyon Mitchell performed this season?

Mitchell finished the regular season with 46 tackles (37 solo) and 12 passes defended. He helped the Eagles finish top of the NFC East.

In Philly's wild-card round win over the Green Bay Packers, Mitchell recorded six tackles, one interception and one pass defended. He posted one tackle and one pass defended in the Eagles' divisional round win over the LA Rams.
