For the first time in three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, running back Rachaad White missed a game due to injury during the team's victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6.

Fox NFL reporter Greg Auman said White was seen working out early on Thursday at the Buccaneers' practice. It's still unclear, though, if he will be able to log a full or limited practice on Thursday. The Bucs have not yet released an injury report this week, so, it will be interesting to see White's status on Thursday's IR.

It looks like he's headed in the right direction to rejoin the Bucs offense in Week 7. For the time being, fantasy managers should monitor his development this week and modify their expectations appropriately, as his performance and fantasy relevance in the upcoming weeks will be heavily dependent on his recuperation.

Tampa Bay will face the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in Week 7 following its 51-27 victory over the Saints last weekend.

In White's absence, running back Sean Tucker had a breakout game, amassing 192 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns (136 rushing yards and 56 receiving yards).

Rachaad White may not have a lot of workload in the Bucs’ backfield after he recovers from injury, given Tucker's success in Week 6 and Bucky Irving's rise this season after Tampa Bay selected him with the 125th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL draft.

Rachaad White injury update: What happened to the Buccaneers RB?

After starting every 17 games and amassing over 1,500 yards from scrimmage for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, running back Rachaad White struggled this season, totaling just 187 rushing yards through five games.

To make matters worse for White, he was unable to play last weekend due to a foot issue, which gave Bucky Irving more opportunity to shine.

White is probably going to play again for the Bucs on Monday Night Football, however, all indications suggest Bucky Irving getting more snaps in the game despite White's possible availability.

Irving has been brilliant this season, advancing the team's rushing style in ways that even the most bullish supporters couldn't have predicted.
