Picking the NFL's greatest uniforms is no easy task since there are many to choose from. We've seen a lot of neat color schemes and terrific helmet logos throughout the years.
The Denver Broncos' "Orange Crush" attire were phenomenal back in the day. The colorful orange and blue jerseys are synonymous with quarterback John Elway, who wore them for the majority of his Hall of Fame career.

However, the Orange Crush uniforms failed to make this list.
Three uniforms that made the cut
#1 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

There are a lot of football fans out there who absolutely hate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' old "creamsicle" regalia. It's understandable, seeing that they're bright orange jerseys accompanied by a helmet with a strange "Bucco Bruce" pirate logo. However, these are simply the coolest garbs in NFL history, whether liked or not.
Tampa wore them from 1976 until 1996. They lost 26 consecutive games, going 0-14 in 1976 and 2-12 the following season while wearing their famous orange, white and red unis. Although there have been many losing seasons involving Bucco Bruce, the Buccaneers were looking good.
#2 - Houston/Tennessee Oilers
![The Oilers rocked Columbia blue and white with scarlet trim.](https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg?w=190 190w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg?w=720 720w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg?w=640 640w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2023/04/9d702-16804753811635-1920.jpg 1920w)
Before they were the Tennesse Titans, the franchise was known as the Houston Oilers for 37 seasons before becoming the Tennesee Oilers for two years. The team wore Columbia blue and white jerseys with scarlet trim, and the helmets featured an oil derrick logo.
When you think of these beautiful uniforms, you probably envision Hall of Famers like Earl Campbell and Warren Moon and stars like Steve McNair and Eddie George.
It would be great if the Houston Texans changed their name to the Oilers and brought these classics back to the NFL for good.
#3 - New England Patriots

The New England Patriots' current gear is decent, but they really need to go back to sporting their old red ones on a full-time basis.
Wearing these regimentals, the Patriots made it all the way to Super Bowl XX. Unfortunately, for them, they were smoked 46-10 by the Chicago Bears, who were led by running back legend Walter Payton and arguably the greatest defense of all time.
New England ditched their red, white, and blue "Pat Patriot" ensemble in 1993. They later went on to win six Super Bowl victories with Tom Brady in their dark blue jerseys.
