After 14 weeks of action in the 2024 NFL season, four teams have already clinched a playoff berth. The Detroit Lions continued their momentum with a last-second win against the Green Bay Packers, and the Philadelphia Eagles beat a competitive Carolina Panthers side to stay close to the NFC North team.

In the AFC, the Buffalo Bills joined the Kansas City Chiefs in the big party, but their loss to the LA Rams hurt their chances to clinch the No. 1 seed in the conference.

That said, it's time to focus on the other side of the playoff race and see which of the teams trying to make it to the postseason has the best chances with four more weeks of action in the 2024 regular season.

8. Los Angeles Rams (7-6)

The Rams made a statement against the Buffalo Bills, dropping 44 points to surpass one of the best offenses in the NFL. That win changed the picture for the Rams, who are the Seattle Seahawks' closest pursuers after Week 14.

9. Atlanta Falcons (6-7)

The loss against Kirk Cousins' former team, the Minnesota Vikings, put the Falcons in a complex situation, especially after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Las Vegas Raiders to improve to 7-6.

10. Arizona Cardinals (6-7)

Contrary to the Rams, the Cardinals missed an opportunity to get closer to the Seahawks, especially knowing that they clashed against Geno Smith and Co. The Cards have a 6-7 record after losing to Seattle and their playoff chances received a big blow.

11. San Francisco 49ers (6-7)

The 49ers showed signs of life on Sunday with a convincing 38-13 win against the Chicago Bears, improving to 6-7. They'll face the Rams on Thursday in a game that could define their fate this season.

12. New Orleans Saints (5-8)

The New Orleans Saints went to MetLife Stadium and beat the New York Giants to keep their NFL playoff chances alive, although the Buccaneers are two games away from them with four more to play.

13. Dallas Cowboys (5-8)

The Dallas Cowboys would need to win every remaining game on the schedule to advance to the postseason. Their Monday night loss to the Bengals hurt their chances to return to the big party.

The Indianapolis Colts remain in the race to win the AFC South division, but they're two games away from the Houston Texans. After the Denver Broncos game, they will have three relatively easy matchups (Titans, Giants and Jaguars, respectively) to try to put pressure on Houston.

9. Miami Dolphins (6-7)

The Dolphins stay alive in the NFL playoff race after a Week 14 win over the struggling New York Jets. With the Bills clinching the AFC East division, they'll focus on becoming a wild-card team, but the job won't be easy.

10. Cincinnati Bengals (5-8)

The Bengals refuse to give up on the 2024 NFL season, but their 1-4 start is hurting their chances to advance. This team was expected to compete for the Super Bowl, but as of right now, they're fighting to become a wild-card team.
