Florida Gators wide receiver Ricky Pearsall will hear his name called during the 2024 NFL Draft.
Pearsall concluded his five-year collegiate career at Florida. He spent two years with the Gators after he played at Arizona State for his first three years. Last season, Pearsall recorded 65 receptions for 965 yards and four touchdowns.
So, with the wide receiver class very deep, where will Pearsall end up being selected?

Ricky Pearsall 2024 NFL Draft Projection
Florida Gators wide receiver Ricky Pearsall is projected to be a Day 2 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Pearsall is projected to be selected in the mid to late second round. In Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest mock draft, he had the Gators wide receiver being selected 45th overall.
Pearsall's strengths are his ability to separate from the cornerbacks, his after-the-catch ability, and is a great route runner. A knock on him, though, is that he struggled against aggressive defenses in college and didn't play up to his speed at times.
Three best landing spots for Ricky Pearsall
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots desperately need to add to their wide receiver room, and selecting multiple wide receivers in the 2024 NFL Draft shouldn't be out of the picture.
The expectation is that the Patriots will select a quarterback at third overall, and if that's the case, New England could select Pearsall in the second round. The Patriots did at KJ Osborn in free agency, but that isn't enough, as New England needs to do more.
Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons signed Kirk Cousins to be their quarterback, and in the draft, they should add some more weapons for him.
The Falcons do have Drake London, Rondale Moore and Darnell Mooney as their top wide receivers, but Pearsall could give them more depth to the wide receiver room.
Atlanta needs to get more weapons for Cousins, and Pearsall could learn behind those three for a year or two before becoming a starter.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are expected to draft multiple wide receivers after losing Gabe Davis in free agency and trading Stefon Diggs.
If Buffalo doesn't draft a wide receiver at 28, it could trade down to the early parts of the second round and select Pearsall. He could be a starting wide receiver right away in Buffalo and give them a cost-effective receiver for Josh Allen.
