NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski spent 11 seasons in the league before retiring. One of the finest tight ends in recent memory, Gronk has won four super bowls with Tom Brady. Rob began his career with the New England Patriots and spent his first nine seasons there before switching to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his next two.

He is an open book who enjoys appearing in television ads, joining his colleagues in celebrating scores, and is also a popular online meme. He was a member of the New England dynasty and the 100th anniversary All-Time NFL Team.

When did Rob Gronkowski Retire?

Rob Gronkowski is now retired but this is his second retirement. He first retired in 2019 after nine seasons with the New England Patriots. He cited injuries as a reason for his retirement, saying that he was "tired of getting hit."

Later in the 2020 season Rob decided to come out of retirement and play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent two seasons with the Buccaneers before and won the Super Bowl LV in 2021.

In June 2022, Gronkowski announced his second retirement from the NFL. He said that he was prepared to move on and focus on other aspects of his life, such as spending more time with his loved ones.
