Robert Saleh is an American football offensive consultant for the Green Bay Packers of the NFL as of October 2024. Saleh's official coaching tenure started at Michigan State University. He spent the next two decades coaching various positions with six colleges and NFL teams before finally getting the head coaching gig in New York.
The Dearborn native graduated from Fordson High School in 1997 before committing to Northern Michigan University, where he played at tight end position. He also graduated with a degree in finance. He got his first stint in the NFL as a defensive intern with the Houston Texans in 2005. From there on he went on to guide different defensive positions for three teams in the next decade and a half before becoming the head coach of the New York Jets in 2021. After going 20-36 in his head coaching tenure with the New York Jets, he was fired on October 8th, 2024.
Robert Saleh Super Bowl Wins
Robert Saleh has won one Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks while reaching another one with the San Francisco 49ers. He won the Super Bowl XLVII as the defensive quality control coach of the Seattle Seahawks in 2013. He reached the Super Bowl LIV as the defensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers in 2021. Robert Saleh has never won any Super Bowl as the head coach.
