Romeo Doubs has grown into a key player for the Green Bay Packers in the past two seasons. The wideout, who was drafted in the fourth round in 2022, has racked up 1,099 yards on 101 receptions and caught 11 touchdowns thus far.

While Doubs is considered among the top fantasy picks, some have been cautious in drafting him for Week 1 due to the uncertainty around whether he will play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil on Friday.

As per the latest reports, Romeo Doubs was a limited participant in the Packers' training session on Tuesday. The receiver is dealing with a hand contusion and his recovery is a "day-to-day process," as per reports.

Nonetheless, there is a possibility that Doubs could feature against the Eagles in Week 1. The glimmer of hope for fantasy football fans is his hand injury is not too serious. His condition is expected to improve in the build-up to the game. However, the injury could impact the wideout's ability to make difficult catches.

The Packers did not hold a practice session on Wednesday since they were flying to Brazil. Hence, Doubs got in an extra day to recover.

In the 2023 season, Doubs recorded 674 yards on 59 receptions and caught eight touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. His stats equated to 174.4 fantasy points, at an average of 10.3 fantasy points per game.

Doubs has combined well with quarterback Jordan Love and the duo is expected to rake in big fantasy points this season.

The Week 1 game between the Packers and the Eagles will take place on Friday, with kick off at 8:15 p.m. EDT from Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil. The first international game of the NFL 2024 season will not be broadcast on TV, however, fans can live stream the game on Peacock.
