Ronald Torbert is a professional football official who officiates in the National Football League. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on January 1, 1964. As of now, he is 59 years old. Ronald Tobert graduated from the University of Michigan and also went to Harvard Law School.

Ronald Torbert started his journey as an official in 2010 when he joined the NFL as a side judge. After serving as a side judge for many years, in 2014 when Scott Green and Ron Winter announced their retirement Torbert was promoted to referee. He is the only eight African-American referee in the history of the NFL. As the years went Torbert officiated in many championship games, and two Super Bowls, the first one in 2022 between the the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals and the one in 2025 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
