Rondale Moore and DeVonta Smith are vying for the wide receiver role on your NFL fantasy team, and you can only pick one of the young speedsters. So who is the better fantasy pick?
I'll pick Philadelphia Eagles' year two wideout DeVonta Smith over the Arizona Cardinals' pocket-sized threat Rondale Moore, and the following are the reasons why.
Why I will start DeVonta Smith rather than Rondale Moore.
DeVonta Smith is a former Heisman Trophy winner and an Alabama Crimson Tide alum, hence, it's pretty obvious that the wideout knows a thing or two about playing under pressure.

He came into the league as the tenth overall pick, and the Philadelphia Eagles drafted him, intending to pair him with former teammate Jalen Hurts. The connection was pretty decent last year, but this year the youngsters are truly picking form.
Smith has been a sleeper threat amongst fantasy wide receivers, with the second-year pro amassing 64.1 fantasy points and ranking as the 33rd wide receiver on the official NFL fantasy list.
He is garnering a 24.1% target share (25th) and 25.1% air yard share (43rd). He's been lacking in deep and red zone targets ranking 50th among wideouts, but continues to be Philly's primary means of attacking zone coverage, with 64.4% of his target volume coming against the zone.
Rondale Moore, on the other hand, is an entirely different proposition. Moore is also playing his second season of professional football and is the shortest player in his position. What Moore lacks in height, he makes up for in heart, with the Arizona Cardinals' wideout showcasing his catching ability over the past couple of games.
What's more, the injury of Zach Ertz and the iffy play of Marquise Brown makes Moore one of Kyler Murray's favorite targets.
I will be starting with DeVonta Smith rather than Rondale Moore because he plays on a better offensive team, gets more targets, and is a much more consistently predictable player than Moore.
Smith's next game is against the Indianapolis Colts, while Moore is lining up against the San Francisco 49ers. You don't have to be Colin Collinsworth to know who has the better chance of balling out in week 11.
