As Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow would likely attest, Lamar Jackson's negotiation is the biggest story in the NFL right now. Jackson has had a franchise tag handed down by the Baltimore Ravens, while he himself has handed up a trade request to the franchise.
However, not too long from now, Herbert and Burrow will be up for their new deals. Some are speculating that the LA Chargers and Cincinnati Bengals, respectively, are in for a earth-shattering bill with guaranteed money.
Will Lamar Jackson win more games than Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert in 2023?

However, according to NFL insider Kimberly A. Martin, neither Burrow nor Herbert has put that kind of request forward. Here's how she put it on "Get Up":
"In the conversations that I've had, I have not heard anybody say they expect Justin Herbert or Joe Burrow to come out and say, we want a fully guaranteed contract and they mentioned the organizations that they play for, historically, they're not known to break the bank...
"Right now, Lamar is on an island."
Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert look to supplant Patrick Mahomes in 2023
While Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert play in different divisions, they both arguably have the same number one rival.
Patrick Mahomes has served as the King of the Hill over Los Angeles for the entirety of the Chargers QB's career in the AFC West. As such, one of Herbert's likely wishlist items for 2023 will be to overtake him in the final division standings.
Meanwhile, Burrow fell at the hands of the Chiefs in the playoffs last season. Despite being arguably the only signal-caller to get on any sort of roll against Mahomes, he endured a disappointing loss to Kansas City.
Put simply, despite playing in different divisions on two different sides of the country, both would love to wipe the smile off Mahomes' face potentially as much as getting a new contract. Will either Burrow or Herbert get their wish in 2023?
