There seems to be yet another twist to the Aaron Rodgers trade saga. While a few NFL insiders are reporting that a move to the New York Jets is all but sealed, some believe one can never be sure with Rodgers.
NFL insider Trey Wingo had earlier reported that the deal was done. Many believed that history was set to repeat itself in 2023. While substantial time has passed since Wingo's report, the deal is yet to be made official.
Now, some NFL agents close to the Green Bay Packers camp have started questioning whether or not the deal will go through. As per a conversation between two agents, as reported by SI.com, not everyone is convinced given the man in question:
"Are you sure?" one asked. "You think 12 is gone for sure?" another replied. "Hard to see him staying but you never know with him."

The Jets have been conducting business according to plan. Some reports suggest that the QB has submitted a wish list for the Jets involving stars like Odell Beckham Jr. and Allen Lazard.
The Jets have complied and signed Lazard on a $44 million deal. Sealing the signature of Rodgers' former Packers teammate shows the franchise's commitment toward convincing the QB to move to the Big Apple.

A move to the Jets would be deja vu for Packers fans who have seen their former star Brett Favre trod down a similar path. With the Green Bay front office seemingly content with starting Jordan Love, retirement can't be ruled out for the four-time league MVP either.
