Mike Tomlin's Pittsburgh Steelers are headed to the postseason for the second consecutive season. Their playoff run though may be short-lived as they ended the regular season on a four-game losing streak.

The Steelers' postseason woes may lead other NFL teams to try and test the team's loyalty to Tomlin. According to ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter, other NFL teams could be calling the Steelers to see if they would be willing to trade Tomlin.

"I think there are going to be some teams out there that have watched the way the Pittsburgh Steelers' season has ended and wonder whether they should call the Steelers to see if they should inquire about whether the Steelers would be willing to move on from Mike Tomlin and move him to another organization," the insider wrote.

Schefter doesn't believe the Pittsburgh Steelers would ever trade Tomlin.

“I don’t think Pittsburgh will do that, But I do think there are teams wondering whether they should lob in a call to see if they could stir Pittsburgh’s interest," Schefter said

Mike Tomlin has been the Steelers' head coach since 2007, and in his 18 seasons, they have made 12 playoff appearances. Tomlin has never registered a losing season as the Steelers head coach.

Shannon Sharpe shreds Mike Tomlin for George Pickens' actions

Pittsburgh Steelers' top wide receiver George Pickens didn't catch in Saturday's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Pickens actually dropped three passes intended for him, all of which would have been impactful. If that wasn't bad enough, Pickens was seen yelling at fans at Acrisure Stadium during his frustrating game.

Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe criticized Mike Tomlin for not keeping Pickens and his emotions in check. On his "Nightcap" YouTube Show, Sharpe said that he believes Tomlin puts up with Pickens' behavior because of his success.

“Mike Tomlin is the problem,” Sharpe said. “Mike Tomlin, you condoned George Pickens’ behavior, you tolerated things in a win you never would in a loss… I saw this with AB in 2016 and now you see this with Pickens… Mike Tomlin will tolerate negative behavior if he wins the game. Now look how he is looking? George Pickens basically lost him the game tonight cause he was awful.”

With the Pittsburgh Steelers headed to the playoffs, George Pickens will need to keep his frustrations to a minimum and focus on helping his team win.
