Russell Wilson has been one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL for almost a decade now. The current Denver Broncos starting quarterback was drafted into the NFL by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2012 NFL Draft. Russell Wilson established himself as one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks to have ever played the game and in 2020 he became only the third quarterback in the history of the league to have thrown thirty touchdowns in four consecutive seasons.

The quarterback has been successful on field and this has resulted in him attracting numerous endorsement deals. Russell Wilson has appeared in a number of commercials. In 2022, Russell Wilson’s commercial appearance for the chain ‘Subway’ caused a stir among fans due to his questionable acting! Read on to know all about Russell Wilson’s Subway commercial and his other commercial appearances.

Russell Wilson’s Subway Commercial

The Broncos quarterback appeared in a commercial for Subway in May 2022. The ad garnered most attention after the start of the 2022 season when the Broncos started with 2 wins and 1 loss. Fans who watched the Tik Tok commercial went hysterical and criticized him for his poor acting skills. The Subway commercial was supposed to break the fourth wall where Wilson talked to his viewers about the ‘Dangerwich’. The 12 ingredient sandwich did not garner as much attention as Wilson’s uncomfortable delivery of lines did. His delivery creeped out many viewers and caused a stir on social media websites like Twitter. A majority of people trolled Russell Wilson’s monologue like delivery and cold stares when suggesting he has engaged in ‘risky behaviors’ like eating the ‘Dangerwich’.

Wilson’s commercial may be cringy however, he is doing well in the NFL and in life too with his wife Ciara and their children. Do check out the commercial and see for yourself whether Russell Wilson’s Subway commercial seems to irk you or not!
